Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily shipping and logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving any delays or discrepancies to maintain service levels.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including customs and import/export laws.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts and service agreements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international shipping standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
