Responsibility

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to align supply chain processes with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, delays, and cost fluctuations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma, to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate supply chain performance and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., ERP, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, including Just-in-Time (JIT), Total Quality Management (TQM), and demand forecasting.
  • Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities.
