Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with palm oil farmers and plantation owners to secure consistent and high-quality supply.
- Negotiate and finalize supply agreements, ensuring fair pricing and sustainable practices.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast supply needs and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess farm conditions, production capacities, and adherence to sustainability standards.
- Provide training and support to farmers on best practices for palm oil cultivation and harvesting.
- Maintain accurate records of supply transactions, inventory levels, and market trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements to promote our brand and values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or agricultural sales, preferably in the palm oil industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable farming practices and certification standards (e.g., RSPO).
- Ability to travel frequently to rural areas and work independently in the field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of local dialects is a plus.
