Responsibility
- Develop and implement global supply chain compliance programs to ensure adherence to ethical sourcing, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers, conducting due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, and operations teams to align compliance strategies with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and resilience.
- Conduct training and workshops for internal stakeholders and suppliers on compliance requirements and ethical business practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging regulations and industry trends to proactively adapt compliance frameworks.
- Serve as the primary liaison for third-party audits and certifications, ensuring successful outcomes and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain compliance, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in a global manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing compliance programs, including supplier onboarding and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, ethical sourcing standards (e.g., RBA, ISO 28000), and ESG frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Superior communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience with compliance software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analytics tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally for supplier visits, audits, or industry conferences.
