Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and coordinate with warehouses to maintain optimal supply availability for program implementation.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and comply with donor regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, delivery timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with finance and program teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports related to supply chain activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, including customs clearance and import/export documentation.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and partners on supply chain best practices and organizational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably in the non-profit or humanitarian sector.
- Proven track record in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement planning.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal); additional local languages are advantageous.
- Familiarity with donor compliance requirements (e.g., USAID, EU, UN) and international supply chain standards.
