Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize material procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
- Oversee end-to-end material management, including demand forecasting, inventory control, and supply planning.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain and logistics team to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs and waste.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency and provide regular reports to executive leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, import/export protocols, and industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or an Engineering-related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in supply chain, material management, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale material operations and complex supply chains.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, inventory optimization, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with a proactive leadership approach.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure manufacturing environment located in the Johor region.
