Responsibility
- Lead and optimize F&B procurement operations across Southeast Asia, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery of materials.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with Chinese-speaking vendors, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
- Ensure strict compliance with Halal certification and food safety standards across all procurement activities.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to align with business goals and market demands.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing working capital.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, quality assurance, and finance, to streamline operations.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and logistical challenges.
- Leverage data analytics to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the F&B industry.
- Proven experience managing Chinese-speaking vendors and familiarity with Southeast Asian markets.
- Strong knowledge of Halal certification processes and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable.
