Responsibility
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure smooth and timely logistics operations.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance collaboration between departments.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing logistics and supply chain operations.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving operational excellence.
