Responsibility
- Assist the procurement team in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collect and compare price quotations from vendors to support purchasing decisions.
- Help maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to track inventory levels and forecast supply needs.
- Support the preparation of purchase orders and contracts under supervision.
- Assist in logistics planning, including shipment tracking and delivery scheduling.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute process improvement ideas for supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement, inventory management, or supply chain principles.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, basic formulas).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or project experience in logistics, procurement, or operations is a plus.
- Passion for problem-solving and continuous learning in supply chain management.
