Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve order fulfillment rates.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical and medical products while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
- Conduct demand forecasting and capacity planning to align supply with market needs and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., order cycle time, fill rate, cost-to-serve) to identify areas for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and other pharmaceutical industry regulations in all supply chain activities.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and 3PL providers to negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma projects, to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports and dashboards for senior management on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, or healthcare industry.
- Proven expertise in demand planning, inventory management, and procurement in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply chain regulations (e.g., GMP, GDP, FDA, ISO standards).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment and work independently or as part of a team.
