Responsibility
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to align stock levels with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Conduct data analysis on stock performance, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and inventory availability.
- Enhance ERP system accuracy by maintaining up-to-date inventory records and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on key inventory KPIs (e.g., turnover ratios, carrying costs, stockout rates) to senior management.
- Implement just-in-time (JIT) and safety stock policies to balance cost efficiency and service levels.
- Lead cycle counting and physical inventory audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with inventory optimization tools (e.g., demand planning software) is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean supply chain principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
