Responsibility
- Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand and stock requirements accurately.
- Develop and maintain purchase lists categorized by product type, priority, and supplier lead times.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
- Monitor and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory, reducing carrying costs.
- Implement demand planning strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports on purchasing activities, inventory turnover, and demand forecasts for stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as delays or supplier issues, with proactive solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SCM processes and reduce operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven expertise in forecasting tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, or specialized SCM software).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is a plus.
