Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international regulations.
- Manage freight forwarding processes, including carrier negotiations, route optimization, and cost analysis.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, such as Bills of Lading (BoL), commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Apply Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) to determine responsibilities, risks, and costs between buyers and sellers.
- Track cargo movement, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders across the supply chain.
- Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of goods, minimizing delays and penalties.
- Analyze supply and demand data to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and performance metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping regulations, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and risk management.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
