GM Recruitment is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join a dynamic team in Bali, where your expertise will drive efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure seamless on-time delivery.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in material coordination, capacity planning, and demand forecasting to support high-volume manufacturing operations. Your ability to analyze data, anticipate challenges, and implement proactive solutions will be key to maintaining operational excellence in a competitive market.
This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary (up to RM 6,000/month), ideal for professionals with a proven track record in production planning, supply chain management, or industrial engineering within the electronics or semiconductor sectors.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and internal targets, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to align material availability with production timelines.
- Analyze forecast data, sales trends, and inventory levels to adjust production plans and prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Monitor work order progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain on-time delivery (OTD) metrics.
- Optimize capacity planning by evaluating machine/line efficiency, labor allocation, and shift patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production constraints, including material shortages, equipment downtime, or quality issues.
- Generate KPI reports (e.g., OTD, cycle time, inventory turnover) and present insights to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) and company policies in all planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within EMS, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific tools) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Just-in-Time (JIT), and Kanban systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with demand forecasting, capacity modeling, and inventory optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
