Responsibility
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in overseeing end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials and components for CNC machining.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and reliable supply chains.
- Implement and improve supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, order fulfillment, and lead time reduction strategies.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives and customer demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably in the manufacturing or CNC machining industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP software, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Proven ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain performance.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and supply chain management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
