Responsibility
- Lead and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance product and process quality.
- Conduct regular internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, methodologies, and tools to foster a culture of quality excellence.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address non-conformities and prevent recurrence.
- Support the company in achieving and maintaining industry certifications and customer-specific quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CQM, CQE) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in quality management software and tools, such as Minitab, SPC, or similar.
- Experience in conducting audits and managing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
