Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and optimize assembly processes for drive backend systems to ensure high efficiency and quality standards.
  • Conduct process setup and buyoff activities, including validation, testing, and documentation to meet industry and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Design and refine work instructions, SOPs, and training materials for assembly operators and technicians.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, defect rates, and yield to drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in assembly lines, root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all assembly operations.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by contributing to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews and prototype builds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in assembly engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing operations, preferably in automotive, electronics, or precision engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and process simulation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with assembly line balancing, time-motion studies, and error-proofing (Poka-Yoke).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively in multicultural environments.
