Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality assurance policies in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of food preparation, handling, storage, and distribution processes.
- Lead training programs to educate staff on food safety protocols, hygiene practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve food safety incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure raw materials meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging food safety trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to optimize processes while maintaining food safety integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a similar role within the food industry.
- Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant food safety standards is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and international food safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead training sessions and drive a culture of food safety awareness.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
