Responsibility
- Develop and maintain demand forecasting models for CPG products using historical data, market trends, and statistical analysis.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory costs.
- Create and monitor purchasing budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Utilize Microsoft Business Central 365 and other data-driven tools to streamline supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.
- Generate KPI reports and dashboards to track performance metrics (e.g., fill rates, lead times, carrying costs).
- Identify risks in the supply chain (e.g., delays, shortages) and propose mitigation strategies.
- Automate and improve existing forecasting and inventory management workflows for scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, inventory analysis, or supply chain analytics, preferably in CPG or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central 365, ERP systems, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, or similar).
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to present insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to work night shifts (US time zone alignment) with high attention to detail.
- Certifications in CSCP, CPIM, or APICS are a plus.
