Responsibility
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to evaluate and qualify new suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations to management.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for supplier-related quality issues and drive effective resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications.
- Facilitate training and development programs for suppliers to enhance their quality management systems.
- Maintain documentation and records related to supplier quality performance and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience conducting supplier audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
