Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate quality control processes, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for supplier-related quality issues and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to qualify new suppliers and monitor existing supplier performance metrics.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, documenting findings and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, quality assurance, or manufacturing, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and 5 Why Analysis.
- Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and managing corrective action processes (CAPA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex quality data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, or other statistical analysis software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
