Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, test protocols, and inspection criteria.
- Document and report quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
- Perform statistical analysis and trend monitoring to identify root causes of defects and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to local and international quality standards, such as ISO, GMP, or industry-specific regulations.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality control best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role within manufacturing, electronics, or precision engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and techniques, including SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and 8D Problem Solving.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and testing equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
