Responsibility
- Monitor and evaluate Low Voltage (LV) switchboard production processes to ensure compliance with IEC, ANSI, and local standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and industry best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects or non-conformities and propose corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and procurement teams to optimize material selection and manufacturing workflows.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using advanced testing equipment (e.g., megohmmeters, insulation testers).
- Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, safety protocols, and technical specifications.
- Support third-party certifications and customer audits to ensure product acceptance and market readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the electrical manufacturing or switchgear industry.
- Proven expertise in LV switchboard design, testing, and standards (IEC 61439, UL 891).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies for process improvement.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and quality software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to safety and precision.
