As a Supervisor Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced managers to learn the ins and outs of retail operations, inventory management, and team leadership. Responsibility

  • Assist in daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  • Support the store supervisor in leading and motivating the team to achieve sales targets and customer service goals.
  • Learn and apply retail best practices in merchandising, visual presentation, and stock replenishment.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor store performance metrics and contribute to strategies for improvement.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and development programs to enhance leadership and operational skills.
  • Uphold MR.DIY's values of integrity, teamwork, and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM/O-Level or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with retail POS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges with a proactive attitude.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit.
