Responsibility
- Shadow store supervisors to learn day-to-day retail operations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in managing store inventory, stock replenishment, and merchandise display standards.
- Provide high-quality customer service, resolving inquiries and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Support the store team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets through proactive engagement.
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards within the retail premises.
- Assist in cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems management, and daily sales reporting.
- Participate in staff scheduling and basic team coordination tasks under the guidance of the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and a positive, 'can-do' professional attitude.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per retail requirements.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) for reporting purposes.
- Passionate about learning the retail business and growing into a leadership role within MR.DIY.
