Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Review and approve high-volume payment batches, ensuring compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce processing time, and minimize errors.
- Liaise with vendors, internal departments, and auditors to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable reports for senior management.
- Monitor cash flow and payment schedules to optimize working capital and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Stay updated on local tax laws, financial regulations, and industry best practices to ensure full compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including PPN (VAT) and withholding taxes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactions, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a multinational or large conglomerate is highly preferred.
