Responsibility
- Oversee the sourcing, selection, and onboarding of subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, terms, and pricing with subcontractors to optimize cost efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards.
- Coordinate resource allocation and workflows between subcontractors and internal teams.
- Resolve disputes or delays proactively to minimize project disruptions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of subcontractor agreements, performance metrics, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast subcontractor needs and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work progress and compliance with specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in subcontractor management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction market practices is a plus.
