Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Evaluate and negotiate tender submissions from contractors and suppliers to secure the best terms.
- Track and report on project costs, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align financial planning with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to protect project profitability.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for audits, reporting, and future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, cost estimation, or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction budgets and financial planning.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes, contract law, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
