Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end demolition projects, from pre-construction planning to final site clearance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct thorough site assessments, including structural evaluations and hazard identification, to develop safe and efficient demolition strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align demolition activities with broader construction or redevelopment plans.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian safety regulations, environmental standards, and local permitting requirements.
- Manage project documentation, including permits, risk assessments, and progress reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee on-site teams, including laborers, equipment operators, and safety officers, to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Implement sustainable demolition practices, such as material recycling and waste minimization, to support eco-friendly construction goals.
- Liaise with government agencies, community groups, and clients to address concerns and ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demolition, construction, or project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in demolition techniques, including mechanical, implosion, and selective demolition methods.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations, safety standards (e.g., K3), and environmental laws.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and proficiency in AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications in demolition management (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) or construction safety are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing project requirements.
