Responsibility
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address studentsā academic, emotional, and social concerns.
- Develop and implement guidance programs focused on career planning, mental health, and personal development.
- Assess studentsā needs through interviews, surveys, and observations to provide tailored support.
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive network for students.
- Organize and lead workshops and seminars on topics such as stress management, time management, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress in compliance with ethical standards.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of counseling programs, making data-driven improvements.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to specialized services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student counseling, academic advising, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Familiarity with counseling theories, techniques, and ethical standards.
- Experience in program development and workshop facilitation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Certification in counseling (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor) is highly desirable.
