Responsibility
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning difficulties, emotional issues, or developmental delays.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior management plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Support teachers in creating inclusive classroom environments and managing student behavior effectively.
- Organize workshops and training sessions for students, teachers, and parents on mental health, stress management, and emotional resilience.
- Collaborate with school administrators to design and implement school-wide mental health programs and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, counseling sessions, and intervention plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff during emergencies or traumatic events.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid psychologist license or certification in Indonesia (e.g., Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia - HIMPSI).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a school psychologist or in a related educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working in diverse or international school environments.
