Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective English language lectures to students at various proficiency levels.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments in alignment with institutional standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help students improve their language skills.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance teaching methodologies and program outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and other assessments.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or debate teams, to enrich student experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in English language instruction at the tertiary level.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques, including blended learning and technology-enhanced instruction.
- Ability to design and adapt teaching materials for diverse learning needs.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Professional certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA) is a plus.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a multicultural environment.
