Responsibility
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students addressing academic, personal, and social concerns.
- Develop and implement comprehensive guidance programs to support studentsâ holistic development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create individualized support plans for at-risk students.
- Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as career planning, stress management, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor and assess studentsâ emotional and behavioral progress, intervening when necessary.
- Maintain confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress in compliance with ethical standards.
- Assist students in exploring career paths and higher education opportunities through assessments and resources.
- Promote a positive school culture by organizing mental health awareness campaigns and peer support initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field (licensed counselor preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school counseling, youth mentoring, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with students and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with counseling theories, techniques, and ethical standards (e.g., CBT, solution-focused therapy).
- Ability to design and facilitate engaging workshops for diverse student groups.
- Proficiency in English (additional fluency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus).
- Passion for student advocacy and a commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive counseling.
- Experience working in international or multicultural settings is highly desirable.
