Responsibility
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2–6.
- Monitor and assess child development milestones (social, emotional, cognitive) and provide progress reports to parents.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to organize educational activities, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Incorporate play-based learning and creative teaching methods to engage young learners.
- Maintain classroom discipline with positive reinforcement techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene protocols in the preschool setting.
- Participate in professional development workshops and staff meetings to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (DECCE, ACEY, HCIC, DPT, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a preschool teacher or childcare provider.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Familiarity with multicultural classrooms and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Ability to work full-time (44 hours/week) with flexibility for occasional events.
- Valid first aid/CPR certification (preferred).
