Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance NUSās brand visibility and reputation across global audiences.
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and institutional statements to local and international media outlets.
- Manage media relations, including responding to inquiries, pitching stories, and coordinating interviews with university leadership.
- Oversee the production of digital content (website, social media, newsletters) to ensure alignment with NUSās messaging and tone.
- Monitor public sentiment and media coverage, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (faculty, researchers, alumni) to highlight achievements, events, and initiatives through targeted campaigns.
- Organize and execute high-profile events, including press conferences, webinars, and stakeholder engagements.
- Analyze communication metrics (e.g., engagement rates, media impressions) to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in higher education, government, or multinational organizations.
- Proven track record in media relations, crisis communications, and strategic messaging.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital content tools (e.g., CMS, analytics dashboards).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SEO and content optimization best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
