Responsibility
- Provide classroom facilitation, academic guidance, and homework supervision for primary school students (Ages 7 to 12).
- Plan, design, and lead engaging character development programs, recreational activities, and holiday workshops.
- Maintain discipline and implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Establish strong rapport and regular communication with parents to share updates on their child's progress, behavior, and well-being.
- Ensure the safety, health, and emotional well-being of all children under your care at all times.
- Collaborate closely with centre colleagues to execute daily operational routines, administrative duties, and special events.
- Mentor and guide children in developing life skills, positive values, and healthy social habits.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of a Diploma, GCE 'A' Levels, or equivalent; qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Youth Work, or Social Services are highly advantageous.
- A genuine passion for working with children, with a patient, nurturing, and encouraging temperament.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and team members.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse groups of children with empathy.
- Prior experience working in student care centres, tuition centres, or youth mentoring environments is preferred.
- Proactive team player with a high level of responsibility, initiative, and adaptability.
- First Aid certification or WSQ student care training will be considered a strong advantage.
