Responsibility
- Develop and review structural designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to align structural designs with project requirements.
- Attend site meetings and inspections to address structural issues and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for approval by clients and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Optimize material selection and structural solutions to enhance cost-efficiency and sustainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support to the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar).
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
