Based in the vibrant region of Badung, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and labor teams to implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and foster a culture of safety awareness. Responsibility
- Conduct daily inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures tailored to civil construction projects.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for on-site workers and management teams.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all workers adhere to safety gear requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training activities.
- Stay abreast of changes in local and international safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., AK3 Umum, NEBOSH, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations (e.g., Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international standards (e.g., OSHA).
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali.
