Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures and extend asset lifespan.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, identify potential issues, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute maintenance, upgrades, and emergency repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements to reduce operational costs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenditures, and inventory of spare parts.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on system operations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Licensed engineer is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient technologies is an advantage.
