Responsibility
- Oversee daily engineering operations, including maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades to ensure optimal functionality of hotel facilities.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with hotel management to align engineering initiatives with business goals, budget constraints, and guest satisfaction targets.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for outsourced services, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and operational challenges.
- Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards in Indonesia is advantageous.
