Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive functional and performance testing on electronic assemblies, PCBs, and finished products using specialized equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test systems).
- Perform root-cause analysis on failed units, documenting defects and recommending corrective actions to engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues, utilizing schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to isolate problems.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to refine test procedures and improve product reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, failure rates, and debugging processes in compliance with ISO and industry standards.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure precision and adherence to quality control protocols.
- Assist in the development of test scripts and automation tools to streamline debugging workflows.
- Provide technical support to junior technicians and contribute to training programs for new hires.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics testing, debugging, or quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing or R&D environments.
- Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) and interpreting technical schematics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex hardware/software issues methodically.
- Familiarity with SMT, PCB assembly, and soldering techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards or other electronics quality certifications is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to document findings and collaborate with global teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment while adhering to safety protocols.
