Responsibility
- Develop detailed structural designs and drawings using CAD software and BIM tools.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to support design decisions.
- Review and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations.
- Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and project teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies in structural design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in structural design, preferably in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction materials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with cross-functional teams.
- Certification or licensure in structural engineering is a plus.
