Responsibility
- Coordinate structural design processes for residential and condominium projects, ensuring alignment with architectural and engineering requirements.
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design challenges and optimize structural solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor structural integrity and adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure all structural designs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project timelines and budgets related to structural design activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in residential or condominium projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with sustainable and innovative structural design solutions is a plus.
- Professional certification or licensure in structural engineering is preferred.
