Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to support advanced manufacturing operations, ensuring cost efficiency and supply chain resilience.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with production, R&D, and financial goals.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry innovations to drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical materials and components.
- Optimize inventory levels and lead times through data-driven demand forecasting and supplier collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing, sustainability, and regulatory standards in all procurement activities.
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in advanced manufacturing or high-tech industries.
- Proven track record of negotiating high-value contracts and managing supplier relationships in a global context.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools, ERP systems, and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), and total cost of ownership (TCO) models.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs, and logistics in the APAC region.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
