Responsibility
- Issue and manage purchase orders for direct materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
- Conduct supplier sourcing and evaluation to identify cost-effective and reliable vendors.
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records, coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure stock availability.
- Monitor procurement budgets and track expenditures to support financial planning.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics) to align procurement activities with operational needs.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, or invoices in collaboration with suppliers and finance teams.
- Implement and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with inventory control principles and supply chain best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
