Responsibility
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for high-quality materials and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure reliable and timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time (JIT) procurement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulations.
- Lead RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes and evaluate supplier bids based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings in procurement.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and demand forecasting.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
