Responsibility
- Monitor and allocate inventory across multiple warehouses and retail locations to meet demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize overstock or stockouts.
- Analyze inventory data using ERP systems to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Generate and distribute inventory reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies by conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Optimize space utilization in warehouses by strategically placing high-turnover items for efficient picking and packing.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of allocated stock to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, adjustments, and transactions in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, allocation, or a similar role within manufacturing or retail.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in tracking and reporting inventory metrics.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
