Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to maximize value and minimize risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers based on reliability, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including spend analysis, savings achievements, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and regulatory compliance in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in wholesale or manufacturing.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics coordination is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
