Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management for critical suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Legal) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors to mitigate disruptions and capitalize on opportunities.
- Drive sustainable and ethical procurement practices, including supplier diversity and compliance with local/international regulations.
- Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory management to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop procurement team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of negotiating high-value contracts and achieving cost savings in a manufacturing, logistics, or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS are highly desirable.
- Experience working in Indonesia or Southeast Asia with familiarity with local supplier networks is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
