Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships and favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory management, contract law, and supplier evaluation techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is a plus.
